Flight Control Systems Lead
We are looking for an experienced systems engineer to lead the flight control system development for the S-1

What You’ll Do
-
Define the overall flight control system architecture, covering control laws, actuation, sensing, data buses redundancy, and integration with propulsion and vehicle management systems

Own avionics and control hardware selection, including FCCs, IMUs, air data systems, servos/actuators, and associated I/O
-
Lead the design and development of control laws for all flight phases, including vertical flight, transition, forward flight, and degraded modes.

Plan and support test activities, including SITL/HITL, iron-bird testing and ground tests ahead of first flight

Own and upgrade Sora's piloted flight simulator
Who You Are
-
Degree in Aerospace/Electrical Engineering, Control Systems or other relevant field
-
Significant experience in flight control systems development for certified aircraft or rotorcraft, with hands-on ownership of control laws, system architecture, and hardware definition.

Experience in flight dynamics modelling and simulation

Knowledge of tiltrotor aircraft flight dynamics

Practical experience with safety-critical systems, including DAL A/B development, redundancy management, fault detection, and degraded-mode control
