Lead Electrical Systems Engineer
We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to lead the electrical systems architecture for the S-1

What You’ll Do
-
Lead the definition and development of the S-1 aircraft electrical architecture, including HV/LV power distribution, contactors, circuit protection, junction boxes, PDUs, wiring and associated monitoring and control.

Develop HV electrical architectures and protection strategies, including isolation, fault detection, current limiting, contactor coordination, pre-charge and emergency shutdown.

Perform and coordinate electrical system safety assessments, including FHA, PSSA and SSA activities in accordance with SAE ARP4761 / ARP4754A and applicable certification requirements.

Lead component selection and specification for contactors, fuses, circuit breakers, connectors, cables, sensors and other electrical components.
Who You Are
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant field

Significant experience designing electrical systems for complex, safety-critical products, preferably aerospace or other high-voltage applications.

Proven experience with high-voltage electrical systems, including HV distribution, contactors, pre-charge circuits, isolation monitoring, grounding and electrical protection.

Strong understanding of electrical fault protection, fault detection, isolation and system-level redundancy.

Experience performing or supporting aircraft safety assessments, including FHA, PSSA and SSA, in accordance with ARP4761
