Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced project manager who will lead the development of the first S-1 prototype aircraft

What You’ll Do

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and resource plans.

Lead the delivery of the S-1 prototype, coordinating activities from detailed design and drawing release through manufacture, assembly and test.

Ensure delivery of technical work packages to cost, schedule and quality objectives.

Coordinate the preparation of Statements of Work, RFIs, technical specifications and supplier work packages, defining clear deliverables, interfaces and acceptance criteria.

Administer engineering change management processes and design release activities.

Organise and facilitate technical design reviews, ensuring actions are tracked and closed in a timely manner.

Manage suppliers and partners to coordinate technical deliverables, schedules and design data exchange.
Who You Are
-
Degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering or other relevant field.

Experience managing engineering projects in aerospace or another complex, multidisciplinary environment, ideally taking hardware from design through manufacture, assembly and test.

A strong understanding of engineering development processes and design governance, including design reviews, verification, drawing release, engineering change management and configuration control.

Experience identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers, preparing RFIs/RFQs, Statements of Work and technical specifications, and managing supplier delivery against agreed requirements and schedules.

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, preferably 3DEXPERIENCE, including drawing release, change management and configuration control.
