Senior Stress Engineer
We are looking for an experienced stress engineer who will lead the structural analysis of the composite airframe for the S-1

What You’ll Do
-
Lead detailed sizing of the overall composite airframe and substructure
-
Define internal load paths and generate internal structural loads

Perform stress calculations and carry out Finite Element Analysis on aircraft structures under different load conditions

Support selection of materials, fasteners and manufacturing processes
Who You Are
-
Degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering or other relevant field
-
Extensive experience in performing stress analysis (including FEA) and sizing composite aircraft structures across the lifecycle from conceptual to detailed design
-
Experience in stress analysis of metallic structures for aerospace or other high performance sector. Fatigue and Damage Tolerance experience beneficial

Extensive knowledge of critical load cases, typical load paths and certification requirements for aircraft structures
-
Proficient in CAD (preferably CATIA/3DExperience) to support stress analysis
